Loboc River Resort

We booked a couple of nights to explore the nearby Tarsier Conservation Area and enjoy the scenery along the Loboc River. The riverfront room was spacious and came with amazing views that really enhanced our experience. I particularly loved relaxing by the premium pool, surrounded by a lush forest environment. Although the breakfast menu was somewhat limited, the iced coffee was really good, and the staff's warmth added a nice touch to our stay.

Positive, This place is amazing! The staff were great. Our beautiful room had a beautiful garden view, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic, especially the breakfast. Don't miss the firefly watching tour. It's only 390 pesos and totally worth it! Definitely coming back!

Our room was real cozy, and I loved the garden view. Breakfast was a feast, especially the fruit. Enjoyed lounging by the pool watchin' critters roam. The restaurant staff seemed a bit slow and overwhelmed, but that won't stop me from comin' back for all that nature and good food!

Surroundings and views are fine. The lake view from the room is definitely a highlight. The lush greenery surrounding the hotel creates a peaceful retreat from the outside world.

Ants and mosquitos are prevalent, given the hotel's forested location, although the rooms are well-sealed from pests. The internal design of the rooms feels slightly dated and could better reflect the beauty found outside, which somewhat detracts from the overall experience. The monkey feeding activity could be more engaging, allowing visitors to feed the monkeys directly.

The stay, at this so-called resort, woould have been good, had it not been for the ants all over my table and the pool filled with leaves, how charming! The restaurant service was excruciatingly slow. I expected to be treated like royalty but almost couldn't receive a proper drink in under 25 minutes. So disappointing!

Firefly watching tour!

It was just an ideal choice for a weekend jaunt in Loboc with value for price. The natural surroundings were beautiful, and I loved relaxing by the pool while watching fireflies at night. Bring some earplugs for the noisy nights from the locals across the river.

great room but service needs improvement

The family room was spacious and the balcony offered a lovely river view. The bed was comfortable. I appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, made planning our day simple and efficient.

The slow service at the restaurant was quite frustrating, especially given the high prices on the menu.

We enjoyed the generous living spaces in our room, including our toddler. The staff were not only friendly but also helpful in organizing fun activities like kayaking on the river, a highlight of our stay.

My wife says that the restaurant prices for kids' meals were quite high.
